Panic Attack Stops and Start Again

Was a ball of mess beginning of this week because of the 3 big projects and 3 exam papers coming up. But I kinda planned my time out and realised I can slow down abit before I poof up into a cloud of feathers.

Understanding Travel & Tourism Norway Summary (10%)
Due tomorrow but I submitted it this afternoon. So, CHECKED!

Services Marketing Reflective Essay (20%)
Due this Sunday. Waiting for zy to book out so I can discuss with him one last point before submitting it.

Understanding Travel & Tourism Norway Tourism (40%)
Am currently killing myself doing this. It JUST hit me while I looked for my Course Information Booklet to type this that it is 40% though. Gosh, better do it properly and vet it again after I am done. It is due on 25 October but I aim to finish this by the 13th.

Managing The Hospitality Experience 10 Questions (50%)
This is technically an open book exam that tests on every single topic in the course. It is due on 1st November but I aim to start it right after the Norway Tourism on the 14th and finish it by 21st.

Business & Society Reflective Journal (30%)
This is a 3 entry journal. Sent my tutor the draft of my first entry this afternoon. He is a very slow marker though. He havent even gave us our grades for the previous assignment yet. It is due on 13th November but I am doing it along the way and want to finish it by 27th October.

Understanding Travel & Tourism Sample Examination Paper
The UT&T exam is a open book one so we can bring our notes in. Apparently my tutor claims that if we bring in the answers to this Sample Paper, we will be fine. So I plan to do it and let her mark so I can bring it in. Gonna start on 22nd and finish it by 27th.

Business and Society Paper (30%)
13th November. Will start doing notes from 28th October to 5th November. Gonna study for it on 8th, 9th and 12th.

Understanding Travel and Tourism Paper (35%)
19th November. Just gonna read through the things I am going to bring in so I know where to find what.

Marketing for Services Paper (50%)
Oh gosh I just realised this is 50%. This stupid paper is on a 27th November Saturday, the LAST day of exam period which I was suppose to fly back home. Darn this paper. Will start making notes for it from 10th to 23rd November amidst the other 2 papers. Will study it for all 3 days toll 27th.

This half of the semester is shorter than the previous and yet the bulk of the percentage is on this sem. Sheesh! So stressed up! Hope I can finish everything earlier than planned so I have more time for exam preparations.

Four More Days

There is only around 4 more days left here in Singapore. Technically, it is only 1 more day left with nzy. I really want to get out of here because being in Adelaide living alone without my family is alot better than whatever it is now. Having to listen to naggings and put up with my grandma’s pure nonsense. (She really is a piece of shit.) But being here means I can spend my weekends in pure bliss with zy and it makes everything, including putting up with crap at home, worth it.

It is so saddening. Having to leave after spending such good times together. I can predict that this saturday’s departure will be alot more difficult than the previous one because nzy would be there. Oh wells, what to do… On the bright side, I will be back in Singapore in less than 2 months.

Back in Singapore

Good afternoon world. I am back in Singapore!

I left my house (in adelaide) at 8 plus 9 on the Saturday morning and tok-tok-toked my luggage to the bus-stop. After I checked-in my luggage and was told to get to Gate 16, I walked in and realised I didn’t have to go through any immigration or detector thing and I was at the belts. Coolshit! I thought. But I kinda realised that I could only go as far as Belt 14 and I can SEE Belt 15 and 16 but I am blocked by glass walls and I realised I cannot GET THERE! So I just kinda thought that it is because it wasn’t time yet so I just have to wait till boarding time and it would automatically OPEN UP! At 10.50am (Singapore time 09.10am) which was boarding time, THE THING DIDNT OPEN UP AND I PANICKED! I don’t wanna miss my flight! I am seeing people INSIDE the glass wall and I cant get in there! WTF RIGHT! So I saw some random guy wearing the airport  uniform,  I told him about my “trouble” and he looked at me with a super confused face. He asked me if I was travelling international, I said yeah I am going to Singapore and he said, you will have to pass through security, round the corner after Hungry Jacks. Then it kinda hit me that Belts 1 to 14 were for domestic flights. STUPID ME! So I rushed to get my through the detector thingy and scanned my handcarry and went to queue to go through immigration when I realised EVERYONE was holding the immigration card and I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I DONT HAVE IT! I had to go out of the queue and find somewhere to get the immigration card and fill it in lightning speed and RE-queue for immigration and get INTO Gate 16. Am I stupid or what! But it ended up well, I got on the plane at least!

Then! On the plane! I thought I was going to die ALONE on the plane! The turbulence was so bad my butt lifted off the chair and it kinda got me thinking that I kinda don’t mind going through the turbulence if zhengyi was there with me so I don’t die alone. But then again, I realised that I was glad zhengyi wasn’t there with me because I would rather die alone than have him die. OKAY! What am I talking about! Choychoychoy! Whatever it is, I arrived at 5pm and seeing zhengyi felt so so so darn good =)

Had a great weekend just doing nothing. Waking up early to have big breakfast delivery. Driving to the temple to see my greatgrandma. Driving to Simpang to buy food. Lunching at madjacks. Getting my hair dyed by nzy! Yeah! I have glossy brown hair now, dyed by zy =)

He is back in camp now =(  I don’t like it but not like we have a choice though. I am just looking forward to your next book out. =( Miss you baby.

I should start on my assignments. Shall bath and go to the library to borrow books about Norway! Norway tourism assignment, here I come.

ticktockticktock

As 18th September nears, time starts slowing down. I don’t know why, but it just seems that way.

I schedule my workload properly so I don’t have to end up rushing through my projects like it usually happens in SP, all the time in fact. But I don’t exactly stress myself out either. I schedule like 1 thing a day so I can do it at a pretty reasonal speed that includes cooking 3 meals, and washing dishes 3 times a day (Trust me, they take up a whole load of time)

I also don’t schedule anything to do over the weekends when zhengyi books out because I want to give him my full attention instead of having to multi-task and skype and do projects at the same time. But I guess I overlooked the fact that he has a life too. And that he wouldnt be home all the time to talk to me. And that he needs to replenish all his sleep debts from the 5 days in camp. This resulted me in being so bored, I spent my past 2 hours or so playing solitare, vacuuming my bed and comforter and watching 1 youtube episode. (Due to the stupid data limitation australia has, I can only watch a maximum of 2 to 3 youtube episodes a day. One episode is 5 10 minute videos though)

Damn Adelaide, can’t they move on with life already? Why are they still stuck with limited GB? AND! Their reception for all the phones SUCK TO PIECES! Adelaide is nice to live in, I will consider moving to the suburbs of Adelaide when I retire. But now, when connection is all I need, Adelaide sucks to the core. Lousy!

And! I hate the fact that their mcdonalds has no chilli! I miss my nuggets and fries with chilli. These angmohs are tomato people, they cant stand spice I guess (if not, explain the absence of chilli sauce). Oh did I mention the locals who work in fast-food places here has zilt service at all? They treat people like dogs. But I have seen the locals working at retail places and banks and such, they are really good, better than Singapore’s in fact. Its just their mcdonalds people. Dont know what is their eff-ing problem.

Oh wells, I am done ranting and I shall go find other random things to do. Like talk to my stuffed pig or something. Woohoo!

I know I’m blogging a lot more but they aren’t exactly substantial posts. But every time I get sick of my assignments, I’ll just have to turn to my blog. This is a way to whine to all of you at one go. (BB, Huiying, Huijia, Mel, Ada, Aisyah, Yuan, Tiffany, Robin, I know you are reading)

I am currently very stuck at my Marketing For Service Essay. But that isn’t the point of blogging. I just wanted to share with you peeps how much I have progressed down the very horrifying list of assignment deadlines I posted a while back =)
